I heard our first peepers late last week too, put a big smile on my face! Also saw our first toad hopping in the yard during a storm last night. Ah, spring. :)

We heard our first ones & they were VERY LOUD, in mid-March! Lee saw our 1st two frogs in the fish pond this morning! GUYS!,it’s going into the upper 70’s this afternoon, I can’t stand it!! Way too early! Then of course thunder storms later on. And to top it off, there’s snow in the forecast. Well, that’s spring for ya. Look forward to the shrub & tree buds start to open next. I read in Wikipedia that peepers are about 1/10 of an ounce. Hard to believe anything that small can be that loud.

No peepers on Narrows Pond Road yet! The little swamp down the road still has ice in it. I expect it won’t be until at least a week that we hear them.

Enjoy! Enjoy! What a lovely sign of spring.
